BINGO IS HELD EACH WEDNESDAY NIGHT AT THE CLUB WITH THE DOORS OPENING AT 4:00 P.M. AND THE GAMES START AT 6:45. COME SUPPORT OUR BINGO AS WE SUPPORT LOCAL CHARITIES AND SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS GOING TO COLLEGE AS WELL AS MANY OTHER LOCAL EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES. ALL MONIES RAISED BY BINGO GO DIRECTLY TO THE CHARITIES AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES IN THE NAME OF THE CLUB.

I want to wish all of the mothers in our Irish American Families a very Happy Mother's DayI hope you can mark your calendar for our annual Communion Breakfast to be held this year on June 17th. Everyone is encouraged to march from the club to the Immaculate Conception Church. We will assemble at the club at 8:15 A.M. and march to the church. This is a special mass and march as we honor all of our departed and ill members of our club. Immediately following mass we will return to the club for breakfast when we will also announce our annual scholarship winners. The breakfast will cost $5.00 per adult and $2.00 for kids under 10. The tickets are available. See either Bill Hart or Frank Cottle for tickets.Just a reminder that our next monthly meeting will be held on Thursday May 17th at 7:00 P.M. This is open to all members to discuss any issue that you may want to bring up to make this club better. MALDEN IRISH AMERICAN JACKETS are now available for order . They are nice jackets and are available in Harvest Green or Black. They will have our logo on the front and your name placed on the sleeve. You can also have other designs placed on the jacket as well (i.e. flags, fighting leprechaun etc.) for a small extra fee. Sizes available are XSmall-5X.See Brendan Smith or Rick O'Sullivan for more info. There will be a few samples on display at the club soon to be used to try on for sizes. The price of the jackets is $50.00 for sizes XS thru XL and $54.00 for sizes XXL thru 5X. These are warm jackets so we will also be looking at spring or summer light jackets as well.

The start of the 2012 golfing season is just around the corner and the IA Golf League committee has already begun making preparations for another terrific season. The cost to play in the golf league this year will remain at $450, - this is for IA club members only - and will be payable in three equal installments of $150 each. We ask you that have your first payment in to the golf committee no later than February 15th ; please make all checks payable to Jack Marshall and indicate your preference for playing in the afternoon or evening divisions on your check. For your convenience, one or more committee members will be at the club each Sunday afternoon during the month of February from 1:00 to 3:00 pm to accept your payment. Early in April – check the March 2012 bulletin for the actual date - a league meeting will take place where the league rules and regulations will be discussed. All interested golfers are encouraged to attend this meeting and voice their ideas as to how we can best improve our league. This is the time and place to discuss league policy and procedures, not on the golf course. At the close of this meeting our 2012 golf teams will be drawn. Actual play will begin in late April. Any IA member interested in playing in the league during the 2012 season should contact one of our committee members: George Nuttall, Bill Lordan, Ken Johnson or Jack ...
